Graffiti

I just love Graffiti arts. I don't know when I've started to fall in love with them. They're just so cool! So rich and full of colours. It's like how one admires Leonardo's or Picasso's paintings . Their meanings are fully engraved in it.

A little too much cream. where's the crust?

The world is filled with devils and look like us.

I am too naive to think that the world is just filled with angels and saints. Everybody is "suppose" to be generous, kind, gentle, well-mannered and honest, but they are not! Because they are not as what you think they should be. Almost everyone is a selfless-selfish bugger.

Maybe that's nature's rule - the fittest survives. To protect themselves, they put on a cloak with all sorts of abilities. Goodie-two-shoes ain't gonna work. If you don't wear that armour, you'll just get beaten or eaten. We all have that sword to protect us. We use it all the time, sometimes sub-consciously too.

So, here I am trying to be more crusted. And maybe inject myself with some devil's poison and end-up being just like them. No, I'm just kidding. I will be me but stronger, better and faster.

Don't take for granted people, it's a rough world out there.

The Breadcrumb Story

What seemed to be a child's play
Has now become a serious game show
At first it sounded gay
But I decided to hang my halo

The nights were long and mornings were clouded by rain
The days drifted by swiftly
But the smiles never dimmed
Where do I begin?

Every morning,
you were the first thing that floods my memory
completing my unfinished dream
you're my morning coffee
that jump starts my days

No one believed it possible
Because they knew more than me and played on
Though I secretly knew it
I thank them for looking out for me
But all I saw was only you
You made my bones weak my muscles numb
My heart like a glowing lighthouse in the middle of the sea
And it still does...

I was too in doubt at first
But slowly I saw a future
One that's worth living for
It did not need explanations
Because it was an unconditional love...

I should have explained earlier
But you made me speechless all the time...

Do you know,
What it's like to be crying without tears?
Because you aren't allowed to cry it out not even silently
And you're told not to love even for being in love for the first time
So writing this may be a substitute for those useless tears.

This feeling is so painful because you know it was your own fault
Your heart is aching with sadness
like someone stabbing mercilessly
But all you feel is numbness
Because there's nothing you can do.

Knowing if you let it go now
You'll never have it back again
Even you've meant it forever and so have I,
it turns out as lies eventually
because words aren't as heavy as reality.

I'll blame no one for this but myself
I deserved it for not loving you enough
I was at fault for treating you like crap
And hence the gap.

I'm not asking for forgiveness
because I don't deserve you.

Thank you for everything.

PS: Bien sur, I still believe that only unconditional love will last forever.

Daily blog #3

What an achievement for me. Finally I'm able to sing while strumming my guitar at the same time! I've been trying to do this for ages! I was playing and giving it a go for Dido's Closer song, and then *poof!* There I was, doing it! I guess my brain coordination for singing and playing the guitar was asleep all these while. Sometimes you just gotta give it a little shake and then it'll start rolling on.

I've been playing some of James Blunt's songs, which I find the chords fairly easy to play. Nonetheless, the singing part was quite challenging. I like the way Dido sings too.

Daily blog #2

I'm a scientist by day, an artist by night! ;) I speak the Language of the World.

This book by Paulo Coelho, The Alchemist, really gives me inspiration to follow my Dreams. Just hope it's easier said then done.

Never repeat the same mistake again. AND ESPECIALLY IF YOU KNOW WHAT THE RESULTS WOULD BE!! Because that's just plain stupid...

A trip to Jonker Street

It was such a last minute holiday plan. Most of the hotels were fully booked except for a few vacant rooms which were quite pricey. So, after being persuaded by my dad, we booked into one of those guest houses, located a couple of streets away from Jonker Street. At first I found it kinda dodgy about the place. But what the heck, if I don't try it I won't know what it'll be like staying in a place like this. Such an old building! To tell you the truth, it's not that bad. Well furnished and all. But it din't really matter anyway, since we din't spend much time in the room. Though I find these buildings quite unique. Looks small from the front view but when you go inside, it can be a mile long! LOL.

Jonker Street wasn't that exciting. Almost every shop was selling the same items. But the food there is good. Especially the Nyonya cuisines! Besides that, I was busy snapping pictures of the buildings and people.

I was actually interested to go to the beach side. And to see that there's no more beach because most of it has turned into reclaimed land!

Going to a historical city and not visiting the museums? Besides the Stadyus, the rest of it are not worth going at all! Seriously!

Yesterday...

Yesterday, I had a day out with my best friend Shinna! Unfortunately, Eve was suppose to join us but she had last minute replacement classes to attend. So, we went to OU again..and wanted to watch the 3D version of Final Destination.

Counter lady: Can I see your IC??
Me and Shinna: Here you are..
Counter lady: 1991? You're not 18 yet..
Shinna: 1991 is 18 already la!
Counter lady: (looks at my IC) 12...December?? Still haven't reach 18.
Me: (@#$%*# are you blind??) No, I'm born in January.
Counter lady: (Oh..) ...you're born in November... Still not 18!
Shinna: I'll be in a couple of months time.
Counter lady: I can let you buy but if they catch you I won't refund it for you. (turns to the other counter lady next to her said something in tamil...)
Counter lady No.2 : (takes the calculator and pressed a few numbers... ANS: = 18) ...18 already la...
Counter lady: No...You must be 18 AND ABOVE!
Me: (!@#$%&*)

And so...we ended up watching G-Force 3D version... There were so many small kids in that cinema hall! It was an experience watching a movie in 3D. Even though this is my 2nd time watching a 3D movie. The first time was in the IMAX cinema when my bro and I was in London.
G-Force...it's cute and funny but there wasn't enough action going on...that's why the 3D effect wasn't that impressive. Imagine watching 3D Final D.

Anyways, the next movies to watch on my list are Gamer, 2012, This Is It!, Avatar and many more!!

It's been awhile...

I've been neglecting my blog again. LOL

Just to recall back what has happened for the past few months...
Well, I don't think I wanna write back all those this time..

So what's new on me lately?

I've recently picked up the violin. I've been talking about it for ages but never got a chance to actually buy one and play on it. So now, even though I haven't attended any real violin classes, but I've been fiddling about my violin, learning to play by ear and tryna learn bits and pieces from Youtube. I know it's not a very good approach but learning it by yourself can be fun! ;)

Over-n-Out.

My NS experience

After 3 months without blogging, I'm beginning to feel awkward already.

I'm back!!
National Service was such an experience for me. My camp, De' Bana, located just behind the forest mountains always had beautiful sceneries. Though I always regret for not having my camera with me. The sky looks very different over there whether it's early in the morning, afternoon or dusk or even at night. The night sky is what my friends and I will look forward to every night. We would just tilt our heads and just stare at the twinkling stars. There was once me and my friend, Ah Kuan sneaked out from our dorm and went to enjoy the beautiful night sky. Like two cats sitting on the wall watching the moon. LOL. That night the moon really looked like a sunny-side fried egg! Really no kiddin'!

I met many friends there. My closest friends were all from my dorm - Dorm G. 10 of us all together. They are;
Su Yee - Big sister/mother (she really took care all of us!) not forgetting she likes to iron all her clothes, polish her shoes, wash her clothes and sweep the floor whenever she can! ^-^hehe...
Siew Kei - She looks quiet but when she starts telling us gossips, WOW! you'll be amazed what this gurl has to say!
Pei Ling - The gurl who has two teddy bears sleeping next to her every night but until I 'stole' one of it ( Sa De) during the night and returned it by morning! hehe.. And she's also Siew Yen's elder sister! (you'll know why later. see picture below)
Siew Yen - The gurl who actually completed her diary since the beginning to the last day of camp. And she hates to wear baju kurung! "This will be my first and last time I'll ever put this on!!!" (don't ever force her or you'll regret)
Me - The 'smart' lazy bum, who will plan all her chores carefully and 'efficiently' just so that she doesn't have to do so much work! (thanks for polishing my boots, gals!! ^-^ hehehe...)
Ah Kuan - She is everyone's friend. Wherever she goes she makes a friend or two. But when she doesn't like you, she can stab you not only from the front but from all sides! Beware!! LOL
Ying Li - Whenever you see people gossiping, you'll see her too.
ZhiYing - The very 'yeng' (cool) gal who likes to eat and sleep but can still stay so slim! She's also just like me, another lazy bum, but when it comes to doing sit ups, she's all for it!
Yee Ling - nicknamed: Ice-cream. She's sweet, friendly, wise and always the first to be ready. On weekdays she'll hang out with us but on weekends she hangs out more with her phone! ;)
and Angela - A 3 year old child. (Lain takda apa, HABIS!) :P
(the names are arranged in order from the eldest to the oldest).
Actually, there was another friend from the Dorm G but she had left early(exempted). Xiao Bi - She wanted to go home so badly, she manage to convince the officials and the doctors till they had to let her go! Oh ya, she was the one who nicknamed me Apple. :)

We did almost everything together whether it is eating, laughing, sleeping, playing, polishing the boots or even 'baking cake'! The best part was when we played water fights in the toilet. Got warnings from the teachers but we still continued anyway. What's more the toilet was cleaner after playing. LOL.

The activities we did were actually first times for most of us. For me I enjoyed:
Kayaking - my first time swimming in the muddy pond with a life jacket and also kayaking. There was also a competition it. My partner was Su Yee. Both of us planned out theoretically and in much detail of how to steer and paddle the kayak since we did not have any experience at all! Though our team did not win, but I was really proud that me and Su Yee manage to row the boat so swiftly without any hassle. But most of all we enjoyed it!
Flying fox - I don't know if I would ever do it again. Climbing up the tower gave the shivers already! Talk about the person who is damn afraid of heights or even just walking over drain grills! But it was real FUN!! ;)
Shooting with a M16 - I scored 96 out of 100!
Camping in the jungle - The worst part was when we were trekking up the hills. But building the tent was an experience itself. What's more cooking our own meals!

Honestly, 3 months of experience cannot be written in these few short paragraphs... ;)

My company's flag

We even got to celebrate our birthdays!

Yup, you've guessed it! This is Dorm G

Graduated!!!
